19 December 2018 Ghaziabad, DPSG International school hosted a performance by Dr. Meeta Pandit – a renowned vocalist, composer & teacher along with her accompanists: Sabeer Hussain (Tabla artist) and Arif Ali Khan (Harmonium) under the aegis of SPIC MACAY in their school campus in Dasna, Ghaziabad. 
In her address, Meera Mathur said that since many years, DPSGI has been committed to the promotion of Indian culture by hosting SPIC MACAY concerts, lectures, demonstrations, workshops, informal discussions, and invites eminent scholars and thinkers in the same field. Many eminent personalities have visited our school and presented their skills and shared values and experiences about our culture. 
Dr. Pandit belongs to the Gwalior gharana. She is granddaughter and disciple of Padma Bhushan Pt. Krishnarao Shankar Pandit, the doyen of Northern Indian Classical music in the 20th century and daughter of PT. Laxman Krishnarao Pandit. 
The artists were accorded with a traditional welcome and the program commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp. 
Dr. Pandit enthralled the audience with her outstanding performance of different forms of vocal music. She introduced children to the nuances of Hindustani classical music with her interesting and educative interaction with children. The students were indeed fortunate to experience the beauty of Indian Classical Music.
