Graduation Day ceremony for students for class Prep and V was held along with the class IV class presentation of English play ‘Emperor’s New Clothes’. Orientation for class VI students was also conducted on the occasion.
The ceremony started with lighting of the lamp, which was followed by the Sarvadharma Prarthana. Class Nursery presented a cute dance and spoke about their journey in the Kindergarten. This was followed by the graduation ceremony where students of class Prep and Class V marched up smartly to receive their certificates from Principal Anita Sethi. Class IV presented the English play ‘Emperor’s New Clothes’ wherein the students enacted the famous story of an emperor who is fooled by two clever con artists into going on a city parade without clothes. The play was concluded with a beautiful dance. Speaking on the occasion the principal congratulated the students and their proud parents and urged them to take up the challenges of higher classes in their stride and continue to excel. The vote of thanks was proposed by Junior Wing Co-ordinator, Malavika Yadav. After the ceremony, the parents were guided to their respective venues for the orientation where they were exposed to the intricacies of the IBPYP for the new parents and the transition from IB to CBSE for the students of class V graduating to class VI. After the orientation, students and parents preserved the memory of the day by clicking their pictures at the photo booth.
